CREEDMOOR SPORTS TO SPONSOR THE UNITED STATES LONG RANGE RIFLE TEAMS IN THE AMERICA TROPHY MATCH

Niantic, CT—September 10, 2008 – The United States Long Range Rifle Teams announced today that Creedmoor Sports, a manufacturer of top quality products for the competitive rifle shooter and tactical sniper, is supporting the Teams with product donations as a Premier Sponsor of the Teams at the Spirit of America Match. The U.S. Long Range Rifle Teams comprise the National Team (who include former members of the Palma® team), the Veterans’ team, and the USA Young Eagles Under 21 and Under 25 teams. 

Creedmoor Sports donated one of its top end scope stands for a raffle to benefit the Teams at the Spirit of America Match, which is hosted by the Bald Eagles Rifle Club at Raton, NM.  The U.S. National team will be competing in the America Trophy Match this week against the national teams from Australia and Great Britain (the defending champions).  This is the first time since 2005 that the America Trophy Match has been held.
